April 22, 2025 at 1:08 amDo PSU banks ask landlords for KYC documents before leasing a flat for residential use by its staff? Why should the landlord give his aadhar and pan to bank when the aadhar and pan will be required while registering the agreement? -

April 22, 2025 at 1:48 amYes, they do. Bank will create agreement with landlord and bank as the parties. My wife’s bank even asks for sale deed copy. -

April 22, 2025 at 7:14 amCheck the internal guidelines. Banks now even as for account details and transfer the amount directly to landlord. Check that too. Landlords are not comfortable with account transfer many a times.
