Rapido man claiming extra charge during offer in app.🏍️

Hi, today I just came across a very stupid incident that has happened to me. So, when I was on my way to home from my school, I just booked Rapido bike taxi to reach my home. It was an offer in Rapido for me where it costs only 20 rupees to reach home from my school. Usually, from school to home in Rapido bike taxi, it costs around 45 to 50. But since it was the offer time, my amount was only 20 rupees. When I just reached my home, when the bike taxi driver saw the amount, he was so shocked and asked me, who is gonna drop you for 20 rupees from school to house. And I said him, it was an offer from Rapido, so I just booked it.He wasn’t ready to accept the 20 rupees that I’m gonna pay him. So, he demanded 20 rupees extra so that he wants me to pay rupees 40 and he is not ready to leave the house until I pay him rupees 40. I just gave him Rs.40, Rs.20 loss for me, for my ride. What can be done to avoid such reckless driver.

He would have got the money from rapido itself
You should have told you will call cops on him
He might have been thinking you are a child what can you do

Actually I am studying in class 12th right now and I don’t have so much guts to call Cops at that time and also my mom and dad wasn’t at home I was the one who is going to open the door with the keys.

Go to your app, click on my rides. Go to the particular ride and you will have a list of options. Go and lodge your complaint there

Just write in the app and demanded more fare, they give you back the amount in wallet

Chat with the customer service and report. They have always given back the amount to me in my experience.
