UI am a student living in a College hoste which is Top private college in India, I can’t take the name as it has strong legal team, So this so called top college that charges 1.90 lakhs for four sharing room but the they’ve provided me a 3 sharing room converted to 4 sharing room because of More intake this year around 3000 students more. the room, which is congested has amenities for 3 but the 4th roomate which is me is facing problem because of absence of amenities which they promised me to provide before paying hostel fees. There are over 2500 students living in the hostel and the hostels are running on more capacity then the actual capacity of the room.
I have tried to raise these issues with the hostel authorities, but they have not been responsive. I am concerned that the hostel is not providing us with the basic amenities that we are paying for.Questions:
What are my legal options?
Can I file a complaint against the hostel?
What is the process for filing a complaint?
I would appreciate any advice that you can give me. Thank you.
Even if there’s any chance that I can leave hostel, I would prefer that rather than living in this shit.
