So we have an ancestral land that has been divided by an agreement. Legal claim of the land cannot be done due to far relatives not accepting to sign the distribution of land. Now coming to our relatives, they have been trying to take all the land including the ours(which has been given to us by the agreement signed by my dad’s siblings. But unfortunately my dad passed away last year and since then they have been annoying us to drive us away from there. (There are areconut plantion there and my dad have invested a lot of money into it). They are trying to have everything for themselves. They have connected out borewell( which was also paid by my dad last year) to their sprikler system, harrassing our worker who manages the plantation since we can’t go there everyday, steal areconut(we have cctv evidence of it), cutting power supply to the pump( don’t have evidence but I’m sure it’s them as their house and land are close to ours. The problem is the land has been divided through agreement paper with everyones sign in it but legal claim of the land hasn’t been done due to the land being still in the name of my great grandfather. I need help to stop these relatives from annoying as it’s taking a toll on my mother’s mental health.

            1. File an FIR for the relevant offences.
            2. You could go to the courts to enforce the family agreement; if not, you could file for partition.
            3. Once that is done and sorted out, if needed, file for a permanent injunction.
