Hello,
So currently I’m staying on rent without rent agreement, Now the terms with owner is such that we really don’t need Agreement,
But the thing is where I’m staying The society is constantly asking to submit the rent agreement, Just wanna know Can they really force me for the rent agreement if no then how should I approach this situation. What should i tell them as a tenant it is ideal for me to stay without rent agreement.

Just make an agreement man. You don’t need legal advice for that.

I do understand your point, But I really dont want to as then I have to stay for next 6months on a lock in period. Just wanna ask can they really force legally for the rent agreement for my case both the owner and tenant dont want the agreement
