UI was visiting my cousins in India and I soon discovered a problem , they had this building like 40m down from their house which they rented to a man who started a hospital
They only allowed a certain part of it
Since they wanted a bit to start their own ayurvedic enterprise
But the man who was using the building kept pushing payment dates and sometimes just skips it
Then randomly they bought the building legit Behind the original one and moved the hospital there but in the process they wrecked the insides of the original one including bathrooms and tiles etc
They owe my uncle 2.65 lakhs
He wanted to take it legal but he said it could take nearly 10 to 20 years to possibly win
I have no Idea of India’s legal system so any idea if they could sue and win in a decently short amount of time?
Ps they have all legal documents on rent and agreement of payments
