AHello,
I am looking for guidance and possibly pro bono legal consultation to tackle an ongoing and distressing situation with my ex-partner. Despite our relationship ending months ago, there have been instances of harassment, both directly and indirectly, that have caused significant emotional and mental stress.
The situation involves:
– False accusations and defamatory remarks made about me.
– Threatening behavior from their family.
– A refusal to respect boundaries, which has escalated tensions.
– Previous instances of manipulation and attempts to tarnish my reputation at work and personally.I would appreciate assistance from a lawyer familiar with harassment, defamation, and personal protection laws in India. This is a sensitive issue, and I want to ensure that I approach it in a manner that is legally sound and protects my interests moving forward.
Additionally the reason they are doing this is because he had sexually abused me in past and he is afraid that this would spoil his image if I speak up. They had threatened my family that because of my gender – I should be silenced or they would’nt be able to face society and live.
