I am a fourth year student at a mid tier NLU. I have a good disputes CV, not great grades though. I did a lot of internships since second year and the plan was always to join the disputes (preferably arb) vertical of a law firm. Litigation is not an option for me because I am a first gen lawyer. I always knew the hours are bad and the work is hectic. I just looked forward to having a lot of money, a possibility to go abroad and the workload reducing as one goes up the ladder.

However, lately I have begun to feel that though I want all the things I just mentioned, is it worth it giving about 12 hours to work EVERY DAMN DAY. I am a person who is prone to stress and anxiety and love to have time on a daily basis. Thus I started considering judiciary, only in Delhi though because transfer shit is a complete no no for me. I am good at academics in general and love studying.

I am in a dilemma. Am I overthinking and being too afraid? or should i actually prioritize my mental peace instead of chasing “dreams”? everyone says you do what you want but I don’t know what I want really, I’m just scared of making the wrong choice. What should I prioritize? the two careers are completely opposite and I’m just tired of being in a dilemma. I want to pick a lane and stick to it. I need to decide now. I have taken my sweet time to figure out but really to no avail. I’m just unable to decide. HELP ME!

Get work experience for atleast one year then attempt DJS. Further, DJS cycle is also not regular, seats are less.
