May 9, 2025 at 8:41 amSo, I have a new Phillips Air Fryer that is not heating up. I have gotten in touch with them via email, WhatsApp and call but all the time I have gotten the same response. Here are the messages I have been getting:
Due to technical issues, the service request number is not currently reflecting. However, you will receive the request number via SMS, WhatsApp, or email (if registered) on your registered contact number, along with a satisfaction code (‘Happy Code’) and a dissatisfaction code. After completing the service, please share the appropriate code with the technician based on your experience.I would like to inform you that home service is available for your product according to the area pin code and the services will be provided to you in 1 day.
I am escalating your case to the concerned team. The service team will contact you and provide you with a resolution on a priority basis.
Even after I informed them that I would be filing a consumer court case, they haven’t resolved the issue yet.
Is it worth filing a case?

May 9, 2025 at 9:06 amHi. Iβm a Delhi based lawyer. Try other measures first. Consumer case comes with an expense that you wonβt be ready to bear. Legal notice should help.
