Show cause notice for Passport Verification

I’m living in ghaziabad since 3 years. I applied fresh passport from the same address. Police took all my proofs like aadhar, pan card, registry paper & electricity bill but he said you have to complete 5 years & also provide previous address also. I have given previous Delhi address, where I was staying in a rental, also but I have no proof of this address as the owner didn’t agree to create a rent agreement. Now, Show cause notice came regarding Delhi previous address. I have taken an enquiry appointment in ghaziabad passport office.
Since I cannot show any proof, how should I proceed further?

Any help would be really helpful..
