Society doesn’t allow inverter

I reside in a society in Ghaziabad, the society laws are decided by the builder and there is no RWA present.

The maintenance representative tells me that installing an inverter is not allowed, even though I know of many people who have done the same.

Is this legal? Considering I’m only using the electricity I have already paid for to the builder?

ask them to give it in writing so i can move to court, should scare them .
