Someone I know is continuously texting me vulgar messages demanding sexual acts through text . Can I file a case of IPC 506 and 67a ?

Someone I used to know from school wanted to reconnect with me , I was not in good connections with them in school so I ignored at first . They then started texting me vulgar sexual messages which has made me feel very uncomfotable . This has been going for months now . Should I try to file a case on them ? I researched online and found IT act 67 deals with such cases .
