Stashfin Harassment After Loan Settlement – Unfair Foreclosure Demand & Threats

I had borrowed ₹34,000 from Stashfin (Akara Capital Advisors Private Limited) and had paid a few EMIs initially. However, for the past six months, I was unable to make the payments. Recently, they contacted me and offered a settlement of ₹31,000, which included all charges and interest, instead of the outstanding amount of ₹48,000. As per the agreement, I paid the settlement amount in a one-time payment.

However, after making the payment, they called me again, demanding an additional ₹17,688 in the name of foreclosure. They used abusive language, harassed me, and threatened to contact my reference numbers if I didn’t comply. When I asked for an official email regarding this additional demand, they became aggressive, continued to threaten me, and behaved in an unprofessional manner.

I attempted to contact Stashfin’s official customer support, but I received no response. What should I do in this situation?

At the minimum, complain to RBI ombudsman. Details on RBI website.

Post that you may File an FIR at the closest police station for harrasment. Record every conversation with them.

Question: do you have the foreclosure documented? Email or PDFs etc?

Attach that to the Ombudsman complaint. Attach a detailed narration of what all has happened post the settlement payment.

Most likely they sold your loans to a collection agency. File a complaint with the banking ombudsman & an FIR against the collection agency for intimidation.

So here’s what happened. The agent found out that you had reached a settlement by paying less amount.
So, its not the company,but the agents are harassing you and wants to extort money from you.

First of all the settlement agent told me to take the settlement. They are harassing me on behalf of Stashfin!

If you have proof of settlement offer from their side and payment proof, then tell them to F Off and call whoever they want.
