LI have let out my property to this guy since 2017. At first I had a proper rent agreement and everything, but when Covid hit, I did not get around to have a new one made after its expiry.
Since the tenant was paying the rent regularly, I developed a trusted relationship with him. Now over the last 2 years, the guy makes intermittent payments. He is very irregular and only makes payment when reminded.
He owes me over 2 lakhs now. I want to understand what can I do to get these overdues cleared since I don’t have a rent agreement in place?
Genuine advice solicited. Thank you kindly.
