Tenant Verification by Police – What’d be the process

So I (30M) have a case pending against me. Put up case filed by my ex fiance (354, 417, 502). It’s on the ending stage and it’d be wrapped up soon.

I recently moved to Mumbai and moved into an apartment in a society. The owner has taken my documents (Pan and Aadhar) for police verification. I haven’t disclosed my pending history with the owner.

I just wanted to check what’d be the process that the police would carry out with respect to this. Will there be a criminal background check? If so, will my pending history come up in this? My case is pending in the lower court in a different state.

Any clarity on this would be much helpful.
