This topic is a bit loaded for this Sub and most probably be removed. However, this discussion is very important for us. I want to give you something to think about.

Indian society is incredibly gynocentric. No where in the world are women catered for every little thing as they are in India. They are basically treated as kids or abla naris. This is so steeped in the blood of the Indians that they are willing to sacrifice 1 lakh men every year in the form of legal gen*cide by making gynocentric laws. From free buses, laadli behen allowance, reservation, special metro coaches and seats, no expectations from family regarding career, extremely biased laws etc etc.

Now, the conclusion. This is NOT the fault of women. Don’t attack them. It’s completely the fault of men of boomer generation and millennial akshay Kumars aka sim*ps. Get out of this mentality boys. Treat women as normal person. Don’t give them unwanted privilege and attention. Instead focus on yourself and get out of this country ASAP.

Most countries are gynocentric. As long as there is human intervention there will be bias. Only that it’s blatant and rampant in India. And it IS the fault of women. Don’t blame the knife, blame the wielder.

No, they’re not. Which countries you have been? In which countries the laws are totally slanted against men?

Like I said, they’re only blatant in India. But there is bias everywhere. Even in the US, child custody is mostly given to mothers than the dad unless the mother is completely unfit to be a parent.

I’m a woman and I sympathize with Indian men so deeply. If you can’t get out of the country, don’t marry a woman who isn’t your equal in education and work status.

If a woman insists on being a housewife, you already know what the chances of that going south are.
Women who take advantage of decent men and the system are a stain on women everywhere.

There are honest cases but few and far in between.

But yeah, try and get out of India. The government really doesn’t give a crap about you guys sadly. It’s the only way to remotely protect yourselves.

No clue and that’s ok. People have their opinions.

                        1. Ladli behen yojna – provide financial independence to woman, to get their say in terms of their kids nutrition and other family matters. When you hold money you hold some opinion.

                        2. Free bus service – to encourage their mobility – access to jobs / healthcare and of course savings (point 1)

                        3. Reservation of seats and coach – to provide safety during travel from men that won’t leave a chance to make her uncomfortable.

I don’t think so this sub is the right place for this rant, but anyhow the whole premise is too weak. India is doing what it can to increase woman participation in the mainstream, and I for one believe positive reinforcement is a good way to go about it, the financials of it, However, is a whole another debate.

Laws are biased, I agree. However, welfare schemes are genuinely beneficial if you know the real India, not just the one portrayed on Reddit or other social media platforms. It’s important to exclude women in tier 1 and tier 2 cities to truly understand their impact.

There were a billion ways I thought this post would go
                            – penalize judges for dragging cases
                            – force more transparency in high profile cases
                            – don’t allow rich people who drive Ferraris to get bail with an essay
                            – don’t allow politicians to mix with judiciary

                            But nope. Women, amirite?
