I bought a lighting from this website for 999/-. They had an option of C.O.D. so I opted for that. After clicking on confirm on order page, they neither generated any order receipt or an email. 4 days later, the order came to my doorstep and my stupid maid paid for the order and accepted it. As I was suspicious, the contents came out to be total fraud with a broken piece of microphone holder worth 20/- rupees. Many users have posted on reddit regarding this. Is anyone willing to take action against these fraudsters? I’ve already placed a complaint in consumer forum website but I don’t expect any substantial action.

Scamadvisor gives this site a rating of 18/100, which would mean it’s a scam.

I browsed through the website and it shows the domain owner resides in Kenya. However the order was shipped from Gurgaon via Bluedart.

If you keep following up with them day and night, they will eventually return your money. You just have to show them that you’re absolutely serious about this and won’t let it go. That’s how it works.

Secondly, report the issue to the courier company. If they receive constant complaints, they will eventually block the vendor. Sure, the vendor might shift to another courier or use a different address, but at least they’ll face some trouble.
