Soo some guy pretended to be a girl over an online dating plstform – exchsnged instagram ids only cause i didnt use the app much and i thought she was cute (turns out i was catfished) now we flirted – she revealed herself to be a teen below legal age later. And is asking for money to delete the convo between me and her.

She is threatening to share it with my friends/family if i dont comply with the rewuest and transfer money and also report it to police. What do i do?

He explicitly mentioned my sister’s id.. and a few of my friend’s id too. I am a bit scared and couldnt sleep all night due to it.

I have gone through that phase but minor/sexting. It’s a video call and the scammer recorded the screen. And started to demand money . Before they start blackmail , they looked for contacts from my friends list and took a screenshots of my friends list , by the time I realise what’s happening they have screen shots of few of my friends and shared with me. Saying that she/he will share the video to them . Luckily the scammer got 4-5 contacts of mine and shared with me those contacts. I have reached to those people before scammer shared my video to them and made them to block the scammer ID. Then she shared to another friend of mine and he ignored it . Later the scammer ignored me. I didn’t give a fuck to the scammer

Ignore. Once you pay, there will be no end to their greed and blackmail.

They are using fear and guilt to trap you. Just stop reply / engaging them and block them from your devices.

Don’t pay a single paisa. If you pay they will keep asking for money. You will become their ATM.

First, save all the proof of blackmail. basically, them threatening you with negative consequences if you don’t pay money.

Below legal won’t be a major issue as you haven’t really met her and also that she is part of an extortion gang.

Tell them clearly that you are complaining to police as they are an extortion gang.
