Took a private inter city bus that broke down on the way

Like the title says – my sister took a private inter city bus for a 400 km journey – this was an electric bus. It broke down on the way about 80 km from the destination. All were asked to de board and my sister then took a government bus to the destination city. This was early morning and the bus was late even to the place where it broke down and she was very tired and giddy. She somehow composed herself and then again had to pay for an auto to her place (which she could have reached taking the metro had the bus reached its destination).

What remedy do we have against player ? The player was Neugo.

I was thinking of complaining here – Email id: nch-ca[at]gov[dot]in or is there a different procedure we should follow – like sending a notice etc.

How did it go? Did you get any compensation or refunds?

We are literally in the same situation right now and waiting for a cab to come. Same company same electric bus.

Yes – for the entire ticket refunded. Complain to RedBus and try to get back taxi spend also. We didn’t do this since my sister caught another bus.

People beware of this operator.
