Traffic Violation – Did I actually ignore a traffic cop or just couldn’t see in the rain?

Hey guys,

Need a second opinion. Was driving in pretty heavy rain, visibility was not great. My dashcam (mounted center, 170 degrees fov) caught everything.

A traffic cop stopped me after and asked me to pay of Rs 2000 on the spot, siezing my vehicle for disobedience ( saying I ignored his signal to stop) [Section 179 of the Motor Vehicles Act]

Thing is I genuinely didn’t see any clear signal at the time.

Should fight it out?

Guy with umbrella on left ? Fight out if possible, it’s not even noticeable that he’s stopping you

Yes, he just walked normally while he was visible on my end and then suddenly he blows the whistle as I passed.
