I mistakenly bought a ₹100 stamp paper in my name, but later realized it needed to be in my mother’s name. So I bought another stamp paper in her name and completed the actual work using that one.

Now the first stamp paper is completely blank and unused.

Some people told me that old/empty stamp papers are “valuable” or can be misused, so I’m a bit confused. Is that actually true? If it’s unused and unsigned, is there any risk in keeping it?

Can I still use it later for some other legal work, or should I cancel/destroy it?

It’s of no use. You can keep it however no harm.

You can keep it, there is no harm and use it for some petty agreement.
