Validity of category certificate

I have a valid income and asset certificate/justifying my ews status for the FY 23-24 acquired via authentic legal means with the signature/seal of the district sdm. The lawyer and officials had verified my aadhar, pan, bank statement, pension slip of guardian, and the residential ownership.
In the form of the said competitive examination, there’s a requirement of uploading the ITR of the family (for the assestment year 2024-25) wherein the gross total income for this year exceeded the ceiling of 8 lakh due to the interest obtained on savings/FDs by my guardian. Will this be considered a part of income? Will I still be eligible for claiming the benefit?

For context : my mother is a housewife/single-parent w/o any income of her own,father was a doctor in the state government (pension being the only source of income, annually which is below 8 lakh). We don’t own any agricultural land etc.
