UHey everyone,
I just wanted to share something that’s been on my mind. I’ve noticed that a lot of people come to this group looking for legal guidance with their problems, but instead, they often face ridicule. I just saw a post from someone who shared their experience of being emotionally manipulated and ending up in a relationship with a sex worker. The comments were just brutal like “Bhai tu l**d se sochta hai” and “Tum chu**ya hai.” Seriously, do you guys really think he needs that kind of validation right now?
I get that some people feel the need to show off how smart they are compared to others. The least you could do is atleast be supportive even if you have no legal acumen. Please don’t throw around harsh comments or redundant advices. Everyone has their struggles, and a little kindness can go a long way.
People consult lawyers when they’re in a tough spot and go to doctors when they’re sick. Imagine if doctors just lectured us about all our life mistakes instead of helping us get better. That would be the worst!I

UHi I have an issue pls help me out.
So for context, my neighbours who are having police connections make a lot of noise. By making a lot of noise, I mean they literally yell, they shout, their kids play on road even at 10 in night. The RWA doesn’t does anything. Everyone is fed-up of them but no one takes action. THEY ALSO FIGHT WITH PEOPLE AND EVEN DID AIR FIRING BUT STILL NO ACTION WAS TAKEN. POLICE COMES AND WATCHES FROM A DISTANCE AND GOES AWAY. THEY EVEN ONCE STONE PELTED BY CALLING GOONS FROM UP. I’m not even able to sleep at night. They have 2 buildings and they’re a joint muslim family of west up, with no etiquette and values. I want to do a police case but I can’t as they have links with police. How can I take a legal action without my name getting revealed.Tldr – my neighbours who have police connections make a lot of noise and I can’t even study and focus. How to take legal action without letting them know it’s me.

UHonestly, I argued with a guy here giving shit advice. He kept replying defending his words for 10-15 comments. Called me aggressive, told me to stfu, all the usual stuff. Finally he angrily replied by saying – how should I know, I am 17.

UThis is reddit bro. What do u even expect? I had posted a similar thing on this reddit a long time ago and I also got ridiculed alot. People want themselves to feel good about being smarter. But tbh, what that guy did was alot more stupid and worse than what I had ended up with lol.

UBecome? Was it ever much better? This behavior is quite normal for Indians. Don’t you think? In fact it could also be considered as a part of ‘Indian Culture’. Because this sort of behavior is very typical for Indians. People who have never left India and who are still laboring under the delusion that India is the greatest country and a ‘Vishwaguru’ might disagree, but fuck those idiots. I’ve lived in several countries.. Indians always love to pull their their countrymen down whenever possible. It is their main source of pleasure.
Actually I was not very active on Reddit until about 2 years ago.. so you might be right. Reddit might have become more cruel because there’s lots more Indians on it now( whereas earlier users were on average , more educated, cosmopolitan persons.) -

Let OP choose if he wants reply “only from lawyers” or “replies from all”I totally agree with OP here, Back in the days I used to visit this sub reddit to learn about laws and what should be done if we are in the same spot in future. But recently the quality of sub has gone down the gutters. 99% replies starts from NAL then some blah blah blah. Not that I hate those comments, I understand they want to help too but then actual comments by lawyers get lost in the comments.
Can we please have a flair system here ?
