What if I hit ambushers with car?

So recently I was traveling with my friends at 2am (very secluded area) and we were pretty concerned that thugs or gangs might stop our car by coming infront of it, forcing us to stop and when we stop, more people come out of the bushes and rob us.

So assuming I was in that situation….. honestly I would just increase the speed hoping they move.

But it got me thinking…..what if I speed up and end up hitting and killing one of them? Will I get arrested??? Assume I have dashcam footage as proof that they tried to stop the car.

Supreme Court advocate here:

you have the right to defend yourself in case any such situation arises. However, due to how deeply our courts are conditioned against the ‘badi gadi’ in any vehicular accident case, proving that you were only protecting yourself is a tedious matter (note, not impossible), even if you have dashcam footage.

However, my sincere advice to you is that if a situation like this ever arises, floor the gas pedal and worry about the consequences later. I’d rather deal with such a case as an accused rather than as a victim.

if you hit and kill a bunch of them in a secluded area probably nothing might even happen apart from some damage to your car. If they are criminals they cannot risk going to the cops, and besides, there wont be any witnesses at such a place at 2AM, which is the reason they chose that spot to ambush you in the first place.

If anyone tries to ambush you, floor the gas, run them over, mow them down, extra points if you kill a few of them. Show no mercy.

Also consider carrying weapons. A sword or machete will work. Yes, they may be illegal but who cares, if the police try to arrest you for that, bribe them with a good sum of money.
