April 9, 2025 at 2:56 amHey folks,
I’m planning to file a civil case in the Calcutta High Court and I’m trying to understand the realistic cost per hearing. If you’ve had experience or know someone who has, could you help me break down the usual expenses?Specifically, I’m looking for info on:
Lawyer fees (average per hearing or overall)
Court charges or official filing fees
Charges for a muhuri
Typical “unofficial” expenses like speeding up certified copies or other paperwork
Any hidden or recurring costs I should be aware of
I’d really appreciate ballpark figures or personal experiences to get a practical sense of the total financial commitment involved. Thanks in advance!
