February 5, 2025 at 7:25 pmThe marriage was never registered under Special Marriage Act between the inter-faith couple. The had both the Hindu and muslim religious ceremonies. No conversions. They then had a child and are now fighting in the court for a divorce and custody of the girl child who is a minor. -

February 5, 2025 at 10:32 pmSorry to ask a question and not have advice for you but genuinely curious, how did they have a Muslim ceremony without converting – is that possible? I heard Nikaah is only allowed between Muslims and converts.
