May 7, 2025 at 4:49 pmI think indian law is fine the main issue is in a lot cases even though most other international laws they have direct sections or procedures dedicated to things we don’t have ( for example insanity and sanity are not defined hence I believe everytime u are given case related to this u kinda have to jump through hoops to actually make sure ur client recievs the due process they need ie and I don’t know if this is the case but just from understanding if there was a definition of sanity or insanity it would make everyone’s lives way easier since to prove it if ur patient has been in treatment a medical professional can vouch for them which in current scenario isn’t possible because u need to prove lack of proper mental state at the time the thing happened which is not only hard but also really stupid) this is just one of the many issues I’ve found I think some more common ones would be lack of proper food safety ,consumer safety and labour laws in india or rather lack of actual enforcement the biggest issue is the lack of prenuptial and divorce being an unbiased ( not affiliated with any religion ) why do we still have religion based succession laws wouldn’t it be better to have generalised once I can understand gendered or even caste bias in the law but religion also I can understand why safety laws are bad is because rich people lobby propably to not have them enforces as much as corruption and the same thing for religion laws because politics but why not insanity defence and mental health related laws or why not make the legal process more efficient. The fact that divorce isn’t properly written down in the law makes divorce go on for far too long and almost every criminal case too if u can’t give us justice why should we uphold the law why not take it into our own hands since from all possible explanations on how real life works it’s easier to get out of a charge then to stick a person in one and get them convicted atleast if u have money -
