Will an FIR affect my background verification?

I am a final year Engineering student. I’m placed at a big MNC through oncampus placements.
I’ve an fir lodged against me because of a fight which took place during a college event. It’s against 10 people, totally fake complaint.
I’ve done my aadhaar verification in police station.
The sections against me are 115(2), 296, 351(2), 3(5)
The background verification is done by ai company HireRight
Can it affect my offer letter and placement?

afaik civil cases are ok. when it comes to criminal cases it depends on how tolerent is the company. HireRight is just going to submit the report, they dont take any decision

Hope you can see my comment.
What is your number out of the 10 accused? the offences charged against you are hurt, obscenity and criminal intimidation and this info will come up in the background verification and your appointment for sure will be put on hold. Try filing for quash of FIR if you think it’s a false and baseless FIR prima facie. If you could get a stay over the FIR, you could get appointed without any worry. good luck!

My number is 9th out of 10, it involves beating some people with punches as per report. Plus how do I get stay over FIR?

ya, figured it from the provisions mentioned.

consult an efficient lawyer. A quash against FIR has to be filed before the High Court of your state and you can obtain a stay from there. Since you are A9, there’s a good chance a stay will be granted to you.
