May 1, 2026 at 10:35 pmHi everyone, I need advice before I go to a police station tomorrow for a settlement discussion.**Background:**
* I was employed as Lead Engineer at a private tech company in Hyderabad, Telangana for 3 years
* Resigned in April, 1st week, professionally via email
* HR accepted resignation officially via email after 2 days, confirming last working day after 60 working days notice
* Same email praised my work and confirmed FnF would be processed in July
* 3 days later, I was asked to submit my laptop and leave immediately with no written notice or explanation
* Company email access revoked same day
* No FnF, no relieving letter, no experience certificate received to date
* Amount owed approximately โน4.5 lakhs**It Gets Worse:**
* I sent follow up emails from personal ID requesting FnF update. No response
* CEO (who is also my reporting manager) used his IPS contact to have an SI call me to Raidurgam PS
* An insider informed me this was a planned intimidation to scare me off my FnF claim
* I went to the station with a friend, submitted a written counter petition
* SI read the complaint and said it was baseless and belongs in labour court, not police
* However SI later mentioned CEO has DCP level influence through his IPS contact
* SI is now asking me to write an apology letter to close the case**Evidence I have:**
* Resignation email timestamped
* HR acceptance email timestamped
* Promotion letter from March praising my excellent work
* Two follow up emails from personal ID to HR requesting FnF
* Counter petition stamped at Raidurgam PS
* Colleague who was fired same day, worked there for almost a decade, ready to support my case**My Questions:**
1. Should I write any form of apology or settlement letter tomorrow without a lawyer present?
2. What exact wording protects me in a mutual closure letter?
3. Can the CEO force an FIR given his DCP level influence despite SI saying case is baseless?
4. Should I file SAMADHAN simultaneously or wait for settlement?
5. Any recommended employment lawyers in Hyderabad for urgent consultation?Going to the station tomorrow morning. Any advice before then is genuinely appreciated.
**Update:**
Thanks for all the support and suggestions guys! Really appreciate it. I wouldn’t wish anyone to go through what I have went though in last 1 month. Working countless hours for someone and they stab you in the back like this and even try to ruin your career! We truly have some evil SOBs in this world. In any case, the CEO agreed to do the FnF and give my documents if I dropped my counter petition against him. For now, I went with the compromise to close the case as its too stressful to continue dealing with. Thanks again guys…
