VPosting this so other students don’t fall into the same trap.
I signed up for YMGrad’s “premium 24×7 US visa slot booking service” in late December, paying ₹53,000+ upfront. The service promised:
• Round-the-clock slot tracking
• Emergency appointment booking
• Help for students with prior visa refusals
• DS-160 and document guidanceDespite months of follow-ups, I didn’t get a single visa slot booked. Emergency slot wasn’t aligned with my intake, and after escalating multiple times, I finally withdrew from the service — but they refused to refund the money.
So far I’ve:
• Filed a dispute via Razorpay
• Raised a chargeback with my bank
• Preparing to escalate further via consumer grievance platforms and legal optionsI’ve documented the entire case — all chats, screenshots, and emails. This isn’t an isolated case either; others have reported similar issues. If anyone’s facing something similar or wants to connect over a formal complaint, feel free to DM.
Always research before trusting paid “visa slot booking” services.

DHi. I’m a lawyer here. Send them a legal notice immediately, prior to filing a consumer complaint. If that doesn’t work, then go all guns blazing.
