It’s really not worth your time to fight a legal battle. Get refund from Zomato and forget about the incident. It’s really not worth the mental agony it gives when you realise how the system works.

Next time ask the waiter to remove SC. Once they provide you the updated bill, don’t tell them the mode of payment, make an excuse and ask them to come back in 5 mins. Pay the bill on Zomato or Swiggy. When they are back, show the payment receipt.

This way they’ll not get a chance to make their stupid imposition.

I have tried this couple of times in swiggy/dineout.
