What is an “individual MLA led pil”? I didn’t understand that part.
But you work with the other representatives and push for criminal law reform.
Only the legislature can make laws as they are the elected representatives of people. So that’s the route you should pursue.
But if you think you can start a people led movement that can get the support of the masses and influence the government to bring a reform, go for it mate.

Call your MLA and MP. Or run for office.

You should ask your lawyer if that court has jurisdiction or can the jurisdiction be challenged.
Please read Section 16 of CPC (you can google). I am quoting a part of the same :
“…Court within the local limits of whose jurisdiction the defendant actually and voluntarily resides, or carries on business, or personally works for gain.”

Now there can be a jurisdiction stated in the agreement as well. So go through it with your engaged lawyer.

I will not comment since there must be nuances in this situation that I’m not aware of.
But you should read Section 27 of the Contract Act. The company has to prove that you will divulge confidential company information that has the potential of harming their business interest.

Secondly, I’m not aware of what your former company is, but since the company has filed the suit in another city, you should look into challenging the jurisdiction on the ground that the alleged breach has occurred in your present place of living.

If you are willing to fight the fight, you can take steps against the concerned officers for not registering the FIR. At the outset I would suggest you contact a lawyer in Delhi and take steps to file a representation before the PCA, Delhi for the inaction/harrassment caused by the police.

Any payment for court fee need not be made out to the advocate. You can write a check as well. And court fee is paid at the time of filing the suit. (Exceptions may exist)

Your best option is to approach the State Bar council. You should also consult the new lawyer you have engaged as to whether the court fee has been paid or not.
If you are engaging a new lawyer, you should also preferably take an NOC from the previously engaged lawyer.
