Yes. More or less. The studio has also offered their help in regards to reaching out to investors, distributors, etc. Which is nice, but we would still like to make sure our interests are protected. Creators should own the rights and should have a say in bigger decisions. And there should be complete transparency about any leads or financial information. Because we are, apart from being a creators, are also taking care of entire pre production including voice overs.ย
I have an idea for animated series which is being developed with the help of a studio. Need to get a contract made (or reviewed) which safeguards my interests if the show gets some traction like a following, or finance. So far it has been self funded. To be signed by the creator (myself) and the studio that is helping us make it. I did create some form of contract using chatGPT; but it cant be that simple, right ?
