Would you suggest I do the high quality color photocopy directly? Or would you think speaking with the employer regarding this would be better to start with?

I was thinking of color photocopy. I was advised to get a notarized/true copy for the same, as it should be considered as an equivalent to original.

I absolutely don’t want to be pushed around by them for the sake of my own documents.
