March 14, 2025 at 8:09 am>she refused to tell her own mother about itYeah that’s the unfortunate reality. The system is a mess in our country. Don’t think too much about it, hopefully the girl gets the support she needs one day or the other. I cannot imagine going through something like that, she will probably realise the abuse she’s going through when she’s older and will have to overcome it then. Whenever she does realize, I hope she will get the support she needs

March 14, 2025 at 7:00 amYou can go to the police about it, and I think they would take it from there because without having any concrete proof it is difficult to take the case forward or even file an FIR. The concrete proof here would be any information about the victim, the offender and surety that this is really happening. Further, without the victim coming forward that it is not consensual, it will further be difficult to take any action on it unfortunately.BBravekrishna7501

March 11, 2025 at 4:54 pmCan you go for a settlement type of arrangement with her by any chance? Like a settlement that you will only be paying child support and nothing else? And moreover she cannot ask you to do anything else unless you’re married so don’t worry about thatBBravekrishna7501

March 11, 2025 at 2:33 pmAdultery is not a crime in India but it is a ground for divorce. You can file for divorce under this ground with sufficient evidence, and I think it will be difficult for her to get alimony like you mentioned, so the case would be favorable on your side most probably. Consult a good divorce lawyer, hope your case goes smoothlyBBravekrishna7501

March 11, 2025 at 5:51 amSummon order is sent by the court before the proceedings, you shouldn’t have to worry about it right. You as a petitioner should only send the legal notice that the case has been filed against themBBravekrishna7501
