April 13, 2025 at 2:48 pmI agree it’s division of assets acquired during marriage, which is the same for India. What I am trying to say is that the cases we see in media are exceptions, both in India and other countries. Most cases that start amicably end up divorcing amicably as well. Most people don’t take undue advantage and end things peacefully.
However, just like in India there are laws that are exploited every day as well. Are you trying to imply that it’s only in India that people exploit the system successfully?
The laws are not all that different where assets acquired during marriage are divided as it’s fair. There are variances to this based on the country religion etc though.

April 13, 2025 at 8:58 amWhy would you think it’s a complex case? The OP has not mentioned alimony or any other issues, just if a marriage in India to a foreign national can be divorced in India. There are laws and provisions to facilitate that, and is not complicated.BBravesruti3900

April 13, 2025 at 8:52 amIn most western countries the division of assets is 50%. On top, child support etc is paid for the child’s maintenance. As must guys love to cry about the laws favoriting women in India, but most western countries have laws that favor women as well no matter who filed for divorce, specially if there is a child involved for their protection and well being.

April 11, 2025 at 5:52 amYes. The lines between senior and non senior lawyers are pretty blurred. You need a good lawyer who can devote time to your case and has experience dealing with similar cases. If the case is in Delhi, I’ll advise going to Rouse Av court, as that’s where ED and CBI hearings are held, and talk to lawyers and others theft to find more details on the lawyer and charges etc.

April 11, 2025 at 4:21 amYou need a good lawyer experienced in dealing with cases similar to the one your father is charged with. I will suggest reaching out to a few and decide based on what they say, and their feedback from others.A good lawyer does not have to be super expensive, and they charge based on hearings and time spent on the case.

March 24, 2025 at 4:29 amIf he did not have to go to court, probably not. Contact a lawyer if they can pull the records on what he was charged with and if it’s in police records.March 13, 2025 at 7:02 am in reply to: Can I visit Pakistan as an inidan without any relatives there?. #36299BBravesruti3900

March 10, 2025 at 6:49 amDo you take medication for it? If yes, there is a chance they could find out.Would they not do a test before giving the appointment letter? If they find out and don’t accept you, then it is what it is. If they do not find out, you’re in.
I am not sure what they can do if diabetes appears after you’ve joined.

January 12, 2025 at 8:54 amBrother, 100,000’s of people die in our country every year of suicide and really no one cares. Don’t think you killing will solve anything. Just your loved ones will miss you, and your property will still be occupied by her.Is there not a higher court you could go to? If WorseWorst comes to worst, I say get local going and bribe the local police to help you kick them out, and occupy the property right after.
Once out, what’s stoping you from claiming they left on their own and now you live there.
