Problem is that the cremation was done in our own field in UP. So our joint family arrange everything. And I dont have crematorium certificate

Not a lawyer but as I read those cheques will bounce for sure. You can do case on this base.

Bond have no legal value as per my understanding

Lodge a FIR, include ur friend jay and his father and whomsoever involved.
File a 420 case with good lawyer.

No he ask for consultation charges.

Basically he is greedy after see FD/RD amount
