March 30, 2025 at 5:15 pmI was not surprised after I watched a stand-up in which the comedian mentioned that the police is pro-people as it helps you sought and solve long cases quickly without much money and hassle in the backdrop of the long list of pending pity cases hanging in the judiciary for years which might cost more just as travelling expense. To me, Rs40k seem like a steal deal here. The issue is bureaucracy, which acts as gatekeepers of the judiciary, makes tedious laws and makes justice feel like a once-in-a-lifetime dream.

March 8, 2025 at 6:29 pmI agree with your final observation. It doesn’t make sense to cost Rs10,000 for a failed attempt. -
