Yup that “friend” is a scammer. This makes much more sense, first they emotionally manipulated him then they got him. That’s why it took so long for him to understand this, he blindly trusted the guy.

Perhaps the “friend”, the very first time he contacted him, that was his plan. If this is even slightly true then there’s a possibility of getting the money back if police investigates that guy, although I’m not sure exactly if this is a lead, you need to check on with experts on this.

Like if you suspect that guy then how he should proceed from here on. Post an update on this maybe?

It’s an app for penpals, I used it in the past.

Anyways, good luck to you and your friend.

Damn, he’s poor. That sucks man, all his money taken just like that. Didn’t he inform you while all this was happening to him?

I mean you could’ve warned him prolly, how the heck all this kept going on for a year and he got no help or anything.

With those names, you should’ve backed off immediately.

I’m not asking for 18k, I mentioned that the curtain’s cost was 18k. I asked for a fair compensation.

If I get them made today, the exact same ones it’ll cost me 18k. They were in near perfect condition.

Anyways, I know this is not how it works but even if I account for depreciation over the years then I should be fairly compensated for atleast 9k. This includes the value of depreciated (as in economics) curtains + service charge + the headache they’ve given me (although this should be much more since harassment is included but I wanna resolve this ASAP without wasting any more of my time and money in court).

If I submit a complaint then will it be resolved online only or will I’ve to go in court or something. I don’t have the time and money for this shit tho. Isn’t my case strong? What do you think?

Btw the proof of shirt opening is on CCTV of their store, we don’t have it.

Yeah I understand, but these guys really are a headache, they really don’t know how to talk to people. That’s why I’m handling this now.
