April 4, 2025 at 7:10 pmAll that is meaningless with regards to a bond. Bonds are illegal regardless of what the docs may say.April 3, 2025 at 3:09 pm in reply to: My father died almost a month back and left a loan worth 15L from bajaj finserv and some emi on rbl credit card. April 3, 2025 at 3:09 pmI think no need for a lawyer. Itโs simple, if the deceased had assets that got passed down then it needs to be paid from them. If no assets then tell the agents to piss off or youโll file an RBI ombudsman complaint. If they still persist then file an RBI ombudsman complaint and you can even ask for compensation for mental anguish. Regardless of the circumstances, nobody can harass you for anything by law.CCalmkaur4333

March 17, 2025 at 8:45 amMy point is, there is a whole escalation matrix that designed specifically for this and is very effective. Threatening with lawyers, etc at one time was needed but now is just a waste of time and peace of mind.CCalmkaur4333

March 17, 2025 at 8:36 amPlease first go through the whole escalation matrix, ie. usually general customer service / branch manager -> nodal officer -> only then go to ombudsman. This is the correct and required flow. Ombudsman is only for when the lower entities donโt provide a resolution or response and ombudsman will ask for a proof of complaint to them.
