CThe fact that this is a practice for securing loans in the first place is the problem. Who cares what the police think or advises if this shady practice is legally allowed in the first placeCThe fact that anyone borrowing can randomly throw around some phone number without due verification and money is disbursed based on such assurances just shows how messed up our country’s financial practices are. This is not the first instance of me reading such a post.CBecause there is no legal recourse in most cases in india. It’s rotten to the core. Even lawyers only side with who pays more money. As u said, they should have their own staff for decoy activities. The fact that they wanted to use a civilian by itself didn’t sit right with meCThey didn’t even wait for me to leave the restroom. This was near the wash basins. If anything they didn’t want me talking to them standing at the exit. My instinct kept pushing me to stand in clear vicinity while even talking to them
