          Brother – you owe GST based on all your comments and responses. The invoice is generated for you every 30 days irrespective of the duration of your stay.

            Brother – I don’t where you got the 20k threshold number. That number is for actual renters. This is different since you are taking a PG and not an actual rental. PG has property management and they are offering a service and hence GST

                If he has taken on residential then he can’t run an official business which is a PG

                  GST may be applicable if he has taken it as a commercial space rental (which he is running a business on).
