not true atleast for airtel. The call doesnt go until the announcement is over.

No one has to call you. You get this audio after placing a call. Till the audio is not completely played, a call isnt placed. After the audio ends, the call is placed. Try calling someone and you will hear it most probably

Ex- mother is dying and in the middle of a heart attack, I wont be able to call for an ambulance on time because of the audio being played. Family has health issues and this audio is making my anxiety worse
