Heck even then we shouldn’t use it just coz of fact that English we speak in India is British English version.

Mine is mix lol. Hindu + muslim caste with slightly more shifted towards Islam. My dad’s real younger brother had Nikha while my dad has Hindu wedding. Same case in my mom. 4 siblings had Hindu wedding while one had Nikha. Though these days majority do Nikha. I want Hindu wedding for myself tho but I am having other thoughts now lol.
