but
he knew tution fee is 18k, still he gave you 24k, so he can ask for a receipt and teach you a lesson.

He also done the same in his college days. He knows everything. Telling the truth only makes him happy and proud.

If its 13y Id you must have CD box with key. Try to write a ticket no on it and send them a photo.
