March 21, 2025 at 4:22 amBoth me and my sister use our mother’s surname instead of our father and its hasn’t caused any problems till now except for some people assuming and putting down my surname as my father’s which we had to get changed. We are from UP if that matters since for some reason everyone is from south india in the comments lolCCleverrajkumar3652

January 13, 2025 at 5:58 amI will do a B.Tech but I always thought I would pursue law after it but now I know better thanks to all the replies. I do realize that’s its all too glamorized in tv shows so I came to reddit to understand the reality.
Anyways, thank you for sharing knowledge!CCleverrajkumar3652

January 13, 2025 at 5:00 amI didn’t know how to phrase it but I believe there’s two ways you can practice law? Although most of this knowledge is from tv shows but don’t you either work for private clients and companies or are paid by government like attorney generals and stuff?CCleverrajkumar3652

January 13, 2025 at 4:54 amThank you so much for your insight! This helps a lot and it will help make future decisions.
This gave me a reality check and I might just pursue law as a hobby rather than a career in the future. -
