So just because alimony paid by men is more, it’s completely justified for dowry to be given by women, as per your reasoning? So the opposite case? Where women earn more? No need for women to pay alimony right? Since she’s not getting any dowry.

You do know that alimony isn’t gender specific right? What if the woman has to pay alimony in the case of divorce? Would the man pay dowry before getting married?
