Good that you got the FIR registered.

Now, since the FIR is filed, but local authorities like the SBP IIC are still not taking proper action, here’s what can be done next:

      1. Follow Up with the Superintendent of Police (SP)

You should submit a written complaint to the SP stating:

      FIR is registered.

Police are not taking proper action (no arrest, delay in investigation, etc.).

Names of officials who are being negligent (e.g., IIC, Anna Minz).

This forces the SP to either take action or explain the delay.

      2. File a Complaint with the Court (if investigation is stalled)

Under Section 173(8) CrPC, the court can monitor investigation progress. You can:

File an application in court requesting the Magistrate to monitor or order timely investigation/arrest.

The court can summon the officer in charge if needed.

      3. Complain to NCPCR or NCW with FIR Details

Share the FIR number, date, name of accused, and local authority inaction.

      Email it to:

      poscoe-box@ncpcr.gov.in (for POCSO-related issues)

      complaintcell-ncw@nic.in (for women-related cases)

Mention that action is pending despite FIR and attach screenshots/evidence.

      4. Media and Social Pressure ( if you are comfortable)

Sometimes, tagging state child commissions, women’s commissions, or local media (Twitter/X or email) can pressure lazy authorities.

Let me know if you want me to help you draft a strong follow-up complaint to the SP or NCPCR.
