FBetter use it update in Aadhaar as well. Because Aadhaar and and Passport is kind of standard ids now.FThen you don’t need it. Your passport will be sufficient proof of marriage or any proof whatsoever.FHave you already added your wife’s name with passport or Aadhaar or any legal identity proof? If not then you need a marriage certificate.
Except travelling abroad, you also need a marriage certificate when you are taking a loan on your wife’s name but you are paying it. I am not 100 sure, but for rule 28 and 29 say either there is a pending case against you or suspicion of foreign nationals.
I wish I can be more helpful but, keep your old Aadhar number and enrollment number to proceed further. May be try visiting the main enrollment center of your state capital to know further processes.
FWhen your Aadhaar was made and why it got suspended?AFIK… Since Adhaar is linked to your identity, that might be the reason for rejection for new Aadhaar.
