To be very honest. I don’t think police would take any much of high legal action against him. They could ask the other guy for apology.
What I can suggest is that Call the mf threaten him with gaaliya + threaten filing FIR if he is again anywhere near her + asking him to apologise to your gf.
And also tell your gf to learn some self defense. Some Men can really go down shit. She is the only one who could protect herself first.
